I have just witnessed what must be one of the worst performances ever turned in by a Warriors team. Losing a goal in the first minute and then losing another 5 in an outrageous performance in the 2nd half makes it two heavy defeats on the trot. For me, only Michael Stone warrants a pass mark. OK, so we have injury and suspension worries but surely that is no excuse for such an inept effort. Luckily the league is so tight that you can get away with a couple of dodgy results (I think we are still 5th) but lets hope JB gets it right soon. Stranraer looked good up front (although Harty is a diving @*>#) but they were nothing special. English was isolated up front and was missing Fergie. Des McKeowan made his debut today but I think it should be back to writing books for him as he did nothing to shore up the defence. Simon Vella was hauled off midway through the 2nd half and didn't look to chuffed about it so watch out for a possible fall out with Bone. A few signings are apparently in the pipeline, Willie Irvine won't be one of them as Alloa are demanding a £5,000 fee for the 38 year old, but will they be of the quality we need. Junior signing Milne doesn't look like being up to it on todays performance. I have to say that Donaldson was unlucky to be sent off as was Gaughan of Stranrear. He was slightly late with a tackle and the Stranraer man did nothing more than push him in retaliation, but like I've said before, referees in this division don't give a damn. If he had spotted a blatant foul a few seconds earlier there wouldn't even have been an incident.
